GenUI presents a new paradigm and different way of creating user experiences on Android. Based on recent user studies and synthesis of latest knowledge from academia and industry we will take a pragmatic deep dive into Generative UI and unpack the underlying concepts and technologies for Android developers. We will explore the anatomy of generative UI in Android apps and different strategies that are becoming possible with e.g. A2UI and the new native Compose Renderer. We will address questions like: - What user experiences become possible when AI can generate or assemble UI at run-time based on user intent, contextual data and device capabilities? - How can developers leverage this emerging new paradigm to build personal and dynamic experiences on Android? - What are key aspects and tradeoffs to be aware of?
