Will sessions be recorded?
Absolutely! All sessions will be recorded and later published on our website at droidcon.com.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, a free cloakroom is available for jackets and bags.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes, we offer water, coffee, light snacks during breaks, and lunch each day. The general party will feature snacks and a variety of beverages, all free of charge. Please bring your own bottle to refill at our water stations to help reduce waste.
Is the venue accessible?
The Business Design Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with DDA-compliant check-in, elevators with braille buttons, and wheelchair spaces in all rooms. Accessible toilets are on every floor (RADAR key available at reception), and manual wheelchairs can be reserved in advance at 0207 288 6475.
Fire alarms have visual and audio signals, with staff and evac chairs available to assist. Guide dogs are welcome, and hearing loops are available. If you have specific needs, please contact us at global@droidcon.com at least two weeks before the event.

Absolutely! We strongly encourage first-time speakers to apply. droidcon values fresh perspectives, and we provide support throughout the process—from proposal feedback to speaker guidance, click here for public speaking tips and guidelines specific to our events that will help you in preparation for your talk. Confidence comes with practice—and this could be your first of many great talks!

What technical equipment is on-site?
Our conference is equipped with audio/video technology. If presenting with your laptop, please bring the necessary adapters. For special requirements, contact our team in advance.
Will I get free swag?
Yes! Bring your own black, 100% cotton textile (e.g., tote, shirt, hat) to our on-site screen printing workshop and get a unique droidcon design printed. This initiative helps reduce textile waste and allows you to create a personalised souvenir. Less waste, more style!
